I see so many posts about how to get a higher salary, how to save more money etc 💰 I had this mindset when I was back in SG as a corporate tech girlie in CBD, but it got too much for me 🥺
I didn’t like the comparison or the race to be earning more than you can or even others. I didn’t like how expensive housing and living is – so I left 😬
it’s been almost a year living in a little village in the south of France and I’ve never been happier! During this year, I was only drawing a month salary of $1000 SGD a month doing a part time remote job. And guess what? It was all I need to survive ✨
Yes, I won’t have much savings but everyday I get to do fun things like gardening, exploring the country and learning a new language! I guess this is what I want my life to be instead of fighting for a BTO, giving up most of my life to a job just to earn more money 😬
