this was my first time visiting a cat cafe in sg and it was just cuteness overload the moment i stepped in NekoTown Cat Cafe. it is located near Paya Lebar MRT so it was really easy to get there.

there were so many cats to play with and touch, and there were toys provided to attract their attention too! the place is also very clean and well

maintained, and there were even comic books for you to read. to add on, there is also FREE FLOW DRINKS🥤for you to take, which is a big win!! it is a really affordable cat cafe and is a really fun activity to do with your friends and family, so i highly recommend this place ☺️

was scouting for the cheapest hair salon in SG to dye my hair, & i chanced upon hv_vanguard on insta & i went for a BLUE BALAYAGE! 💙 total i paid $128 which includes CUT + BLEACH + COLOUR + TREATMENT! 😱🤩✨

here are some of my thoughts about it:

– initially i was quite skeptical as the replies were dry when i contacted them to book an appt (no deposit required fyi). booking was smooth & fast.

– the interior design gives off a very japanese & woody vibes with sakura & neon lights hanging on the ceiling, vapourwave tapestries of japanese folklore & art (e.g. hokusai waves) + anime manga wallpapers pasted on all walls. 🌊🌸

– when i went thr, thr's only 1 hair stylist AKA the ladyboss (i think)… 😮

– ladyboss looks ard 50 y.o., but i may be wrong because she dressed until v young with chains & accessories & a high mauve-coloured ponytail HAHAHA LOOKING SO SWAG 🔥

– ladyboss is knowledgeable, informative & skillful – she shared with me tips on how to take care of coloured + bleached hair in order to maintain the colour + nourish the dried hair! 🌟

– ladyboss is also very sweet – she fed me with chocolate like mannnn i wasn't expecting that at all 🥺 (see pic 4; didnt eat everyth cos i wasnt a fan but she was understanding as well 💓)

– 1 downside was that the hair stylist/salon cape smelled a lil, so u may wna bring a perfume.

– salon was cold too (but comfy hehe) so do wear a long sleeve top before she puts on the cape!

earlier this year i went to Santorini and took a whooole bunch of sunny beach pics and wanted to share how i edited those pics to post on my IG! i got sm compliments n story replies on the pics that i posted from the trip hehehe 🤭 ppl even asked me what camera/software i used…is actually all shot and edited on iphone only!

📱app: iphone editor! i personally love editing with the iphone editor bc it gives u more control over the individual adjustments + is so convenient cuz no need to export to another app! also now that they have the ‘copy edits’ function u can batch edit pics in the photos app which is a huge timesaver

❣️this filter recipe only works for pics with lots of blue/beige/brown tones tho so definitely save it for ur next beach destination holiday! 🏖️also adjust the filter to ur own liking (duh) but the most impt parts are vivid warm filter + adjust tint

Context: I’ve NEVER hiked before and it sounded like a cool experience so I agreed to follow my frens…

Attempt 1: Went to Bukhansan Ui station and we realised this was NOT the easy but the difficult route. Decided to find the trail anyway but GOT LOST for 2h. Eventually found the trail it was 4pm and as we were climbing the rocks 2 ajummas laughed at us telling us to forget it (no way we’ll get anywhere close)🫣

Attempt 2: Went back to Bukhansan Ui cos I thought I was superwoman 🦸 we saw loads of ahjussi and ajummas in full hiker gear and they were FAST💨 I was just wearing normal sports shoes and carrying my puffer sling (sooo prepared LOL)

Arnd 1h in I started feeling dizzy and realised I didn’t HYDRATE enough. My fren forgot to cap his bottle and we lost 1L of water😩 my other fren brought out her chocolate and ofc it melted. We were 2/3 done when locals told us the last 1/3 would be wayyy steeper and it really was😭

Somehow managed to haul ourselves up the rock by clinging on to the wires (fig. 1) and reached the peak!! The wind was an INSANE relief after 3h in the humid forest🌳 we ate our “lunch” before speeding back down (there was a grp of ahjussis behind me and I felt like I was sprinting down already but I would hear their click clack hiking sticks sprinting down too 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️)

Then I slipped on a rock and 🥁🥁🥁 fell! It wasn’t too bad because the first thing I checked was my white bag. Thankfully both bag and I survived the hike unscathed😎

There’s a COOL stream at the start/end of the trail with loads of locals and 🐈 too! Such a refreshing and calming way to end the hike!

🌟bring light snacks (I bought bread from paris baguette that morning) and rmb to keep your trash

did not expect to see rom&nd in sg tbh considering how i had the initial assumption that the products only live in olive young korea. it seemed like the stock ran out quickly (not surprised tho) and what caught my eye was the price,, the tint was $20.90 😭 i got my tint from the korea site for ~$12 sgd so the price difference was a bit 😱😱 at first glance

i got it in smoke colour! its made of super stretchy think denim and ITS SKORTS!! the shorts are hidden which is my favfav!!!!

its super comfortable as well. and comes with 2 DEEP POCKETS!! what more could u ask from a skirt?!!

omg ive been looking for a knitted vest for the longest time. ik other shops sell it, but its not that affordable?? and so far, likka is the most affordable one!

its super comfortable, cozy and easy to pair! i wore a dark blue sports bra inside to give a contrast w the grey colour!

they have it in black as well!

ITS PADDED AND BACKLESS??? its made of a material that keeps u in as well. it has a slight compression if its what u like!

i got it in black bc its a super basic piece. im glad i got this top bc its so easy to pair with anything in the closet.

🖤 im so happy to have found likka! one of my fav pieces but is in backorder now is the skye faded dark wash cargo jeans. super cute! all their pieces!
