I’m currently a marketing executive at a start up and as most of you know, the pay range is usually on the lower end 🥲 However, I have chose to stay on despite the long hours due to the following reasons, which I feel are so important and hard to find:
1️⃣ I'm super lucky to have met and be working under an understanding boss who doesn't ✨micromanage✨ My boss grants me the autonomy to manage my own time and also actively listens to my opinions!
2️⃣ My teammates are more than just coworkers; everyone works well together and there’s no backstabbing 🥹 they are the make or break to making each of your work day enjoyable.
3️⃣ The open workspace and good culture in office helps my creativity & productivity to flourish, making my office feel like a second home 🏡
While my paycheck might not be the best, all these factors are wayyyy more important to me 😌 my supportive boss, amazing team, and comfortable workspace make it all worthwhile ✨
