where do I even begin to talk about red earth studio’s pottery class? 😚😍
on its website, it was stated that classes were only run wednesdays-sundays, with monday and tuesday being closed. but when I enquired, the owner told me that she could open up space for my friend and i to come down on a tuesday!
so we had the WHOLE studio to ourselves 🤯🤯
she was so patient with us and guided us so well – through the wheel and moulding process, to the drying, to the painting. i had never tried pottery before so this guidance was super important for me! the whole class was only supposed to be 3h long but she let us stay almost 2h longer to finish painting 😢
after we finished painting, she brought out 2 desserts she prepared for us… and they were served on plates she made herself 😧
you can really tell that the owner is doing this out of passion and love for the art and that was so heartwarming to see!!
overall, it was a 10/10 experience and it was SUPER WORTH for its price point! would totally recommend this studio to anyone looking to try out pottery!
