    Hi loves! I recently started doing pilates consistently and saw some changes that I was honestly quite pleasantly surprised by 👀 If you’ve been wondering about what pilates could do for you, read this!!

    🩰 My Practice

    • I did reformer pilates a few times starting in December, but only started practicing more in March/April this year

    • I’ve been doing pilates about once a week since end April!

    • All my pilates sessions are done with a reformer — it’s just a personal preference because I find it fun! 🙂

    🩰 Before: Exercise + Body

    • I’ve been doing yoga regularly and I would say that I was already quite toned and fit

    • Yes, I did already have abs but they would disappear once I drink water or eat 😂

    • I get bloated SUPER easily!

    🩰 When I first started!

    • 2 week pilates theory: I wouldn’t say 2 weeks definitely makes a difference, it’ll also depend on how often you practice + the level of your class!

    • However, after a few sessions I could already see a difference so I understand where the theory comes from!

    • There are still days when I don’t look as lean and days where I look more snatched — it’s normal!!

    🩰 Now

    • I’m visibly more toned (abs&core) and I generally bloat less which I’m super happy about — it not only looks good but it makes me feel more comfortable too!

    • My butt looks slightly perkier to me 👀

    • Not much difference in my arms because I usually do power flow/arm balance&inversion yoga which has already toned my arms (will do a more general overview of my workouts soon! :))

    • Of course I will still bloat or look less lean on some days but it’s less than in the past!

    • Another well known benefit: better posture — I don’t think this is true for me…… I’m not really sure where this came from to be honest 🫠
