    Poor Vision 👓

For years, I struggled with poor vision, relying on glasses or contact lenses to navigate the world around me. My degree was 800+!

    Best Decision Made 👍

While planning for my wedding, I seriously considered getting lasik. My friend had recommended me to go to Eagle Eye Centre, where she successfully had her lasik done by the founder, Dr. Julian Theng. Hence, with encouragement from my then-fiancé, I went for it just 3 months before our wedding!

    Booking Time: 🕐

As Dr. Theng's schedule was packed, I had to book my surgery about 2 months before.

    Consultation: 📝

They will put you through many eye tests to check suitability before you meet the doctor. Due to my degree being very high, lasik isn't suitable. Dr. Theng recommended for me to go for Implantable Collamer Lens (ICL), where a piece of lens is inserted behind the iris to correct the refractive status, and the cornea is not being reshaped. He sealed the deal when he mentioned he had 100% surgery success rate.

    Cost: 💵

The total cost (including consultation, surgery, and medication) was $7,350 before GST.

    Complimentary Lunch + Movie: 📽🍿

My fiancé and I were offered free lunch and a movie before the surgery! Love how they treat their customers really well 🙂

    Surgery: 🥼

I was given some relaxant pill meant to calm my nerves. It was indeed very nerve-wrecking, waiting for your turn to enter the surgery room! But it was manageable because of the relaxant.

When lying down, the nurse helped tape one eye wide open. When Dr. Theng started, I only felt some pressure on my eye, and the lens was inserted. Then it was pitch black, and.. CLEAR VISION within seconds! Each eye surgery took about 15 mins, and it was done. Dr. Theng asked me to sit up and read the time on the clock. And it was so clear and perfect!

    Medication and Aftercare 💊

Was given pills and special eyedrops to be used after the surgery. While going home, there were instances of blurry vision, but they mentioned it was normal right after the surgery. The next day, my vision was much better, and I just took mc for a few days to rest my eyes and recover. However, I experienced a headache that lasted for a few weeks as my eyes were still getting used to the clear vision. But after a few months, I got used to my vision, the headache cleared, and it was all good!

    Post-Surgery Check-Ups: 👨‍⚕️

    1 day after, 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year. About $100 – $166 per review.

    Positive Experience: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I am so satisfied with my newfound vision, unlocking a world of clarity and freedom. It is so convenient to be waking up in the day, not having to reach for my glasses. I didn't have to worry about wearing contact lenses for too long throughout the day too. Grateful to the skilled team at Eagle Eye Centre 🦅 for their exceptional service and life-changing results! 👏
