    Ever since I saw the video, I just knew i HAD to make it… looked way too good

    Soo here’s my first attempt. I think it’s a great sub for if you’re trying to eat cleaner but you’re craving cakes or desserts!

    What you need:

    1/2 cup oats

    1/2 banana (the spottier the better!)

    1 egg

    1/4 cup milk of choice (I used oatmilk)

    Pinch of salt

    1/4 tsp baking soda

    Chocolate chips (optional, sometimes i add nuts instead too, any topping should work!)

    Optional – 1 tbsp sweetener of choice if you want it sweetener (honey, maple syrup, coconut sugar, brown sugar are all good options!)

    Directions

    1) add all ingredients (except choc chips) to a blender and blend until fully combined

    2) pour batter into an oven-safe baking dish

    3) top with chocolate chips

    4) bake at 350F for 20-25 ish minutes

    Verdict:

    – Not bad! But idk if it’s just mine or if it’s supposed to be that way, I expected a “cakier” type of texture but mine was on the slightly mushier softer oats side, maybe I need to try adding more oats next time

    Sweetness is actually pretty good bc the only sweetness you’re getting is from the Banana and Choco chip! Depending on the banana you’re using (the spottier the sweeter it is) the sweetness is pretty mild (mine wasn’t really spotty so mine really wasn’t that sweet).

    If you’d like more sweetness you can add on maple syrup afterwards or maybe add your choice of sweetener into the batter!

    Overall, not bad! I defo wanna try it again and experiment a bit to see what kind of flavours and textures I can achieve ^^
