I went to Paris on a whim because I wasn’t ready for real life. So here’s day 4 of my Paris itinerary and budget breakdown, it’s also my last day in Paris 😭

    📝Itinerary

    Morning:

    1. Cafe De Flore

The most famous cafe in Paris and on Pinterest 😂 Didn’t get to eat there also wasn’t planning to because it is expensive, as expected. I managed to get a cute picture taken by a Thai tourist 💗

    2. Rue de l’Universite street

    – This street extends all the way till where the Eiffel Tower is and it’s THE Pinterest spot. Unfortunately I couldn’t make it to the end because I was running late and had to grab lunch. BUT LUNCH WAS SO BAD I SHOULD’VE JUST SKIPPED IT.

    3. Lunch (€20)

I got a steak as part of the lunch set… it was one of the cheaper restaurants in the area but it was okay.

    4. Palace of Versailles (€20 + €8.31 for round trip train)

It was about a 40 min ride on the train to Versailles.

You get a free audio tour inside the main palace itself where the famous Hall of Mirrors is situated. I got a stranger to take a pic of me🧍‍♀️

The entire palace ground is so big (8.12km^2) so I got really tired walking especially on pebbled grounds. I think you could spend 5 hours here but if you’re not into learning bout the history, you definitely could do it in less! I walked to Marie Antoinette’s residence and her lil fantasy farm from the main palace and it took me nearly 20 mins 💀💀 Then more walking!

    5. Dinner – Camille (Les Marais)

I walked around for 30 mins trying to find a dinner spot until I passed this restaurant and saw that it had good reviews on Google Maps. It was pricey but I thought last meal in Paris so why not.

I was so relieved that the food was good after so many mid meals. The escargots were great and buttery. I had a main, escargot and dessert for around €60. I would recommend this place!

    ✨Tips✨

Sometimes men would try to hit on me first in French, then English. And the best way to get away is just pretend I didn’t understand either or people in general 😀👍🏻 Just a confused look then walk away.
