A little peek into a day in the life of a small business owner aka me (Jo!)✨
I started the small biz during my final year in uni and took it on full-time fresh after graduation. Its my 5th year running it and I’m never looking back. Taking a path less travelled also means that life is quite different from most of my friends who’re in the corporate world (truth is sometimes I don’t get all the office/corporate stuff they’re chatting about hahahaha). As a small biz owner, I take care of everything and I’m a team of 1. I do ideation, crafting, packing, logistics, shipping, admin, social media, marketing, customer service and everything else under the sun ☀️
Running a business also means 2 more (out of the many) things:
1. I have more flexibility and freedom to plan my days and work timings. But that also means more “ownership” of my own life because (next point)
2. Flexibility also includes flexible-income too 😂 You really have yourself to depend on when it comes to $$ – you get what you sell.
I made a mini vlog of my typical day, a little sneak into my life too! Let me know what you guys want to know more about running a small biz in SG in the comments!
