💃 Happy International Women’s Day!
if you don’t know, it is on 8th March! Personally i feel women are STRONG – think about the monthly period cramps we have to endure, the body and mental changes we go through during childbirth etc! Its amazing how the women body can undergo so much changes in her lifetime.
🍋🍋🍋ACTIVITIES THAT DAY🍋🍋🍋
We had workout at CLMB, singapores first versa climbing studio located nicely in CBD area!
👉🏼First thoughts:
Pretty dark, so people can’t see when im panting LOL There are about 10+ machines in the studio so i guess its pretty … basic? At least it isn’t small and it was quite spacious! I was surprised that the machine actually looked like that- just two handles for you to hold and two peddles +some side bar for support. 😭 Honestly idk what i was expecting but it was pretty cool to see that one slim machine like that made me sweat and pant like crazy
The instructor was hyping us up the whole time and that was a good way to get me going 😭😭😭 Val and I thought we could do a 10min -10min switch BUT BRO, it was literally tougher than spinning and we switch at the 3 mins mark
For showers, we had to walk all the way down to Platinum fitness which was quite far tbh. But at least we got to shower!
Overall this was a 8/10, like honest review. I don’t think I would do CLMB again just because it was tough HAHA BUT I definitely enjoyed the workout and the environment! 💪🏼
👉🏼 Moving on, we had brunch at CarrotSticks and Cravings. It was a short walk from OUE downtown. I wouldn’t say food was the BEST but it was alright! I pass by often and I usually see plenty of people hanging out there. I didnt get to try all the food on menu of course, but what I had was just nice.
Also had a small cozy session with our besties, guiding them how to create a post on Lemon8. Glad that Miss Val caught up so quick so I can enjoy my brunch HAHAHA but overall it was a good experience because we got to interact with other creators, which honestly is the best part of the whole workshop!! 🤩
This was a great initiative from Lemon8, allowing us to mingle and get active at the same time. Would definitely hop in for future events!
