hey cuties! I've been pretty much financially independent since the age of 19/20 and im so thankful that there are so many avenues to earn side income these days so i wanted to share what i do to sustain myself as a student other than internships :3
✮ being a petite fit model for local blog shops
i went to my first ever casting at 18 at YHF and unfortunately i didn't get the job but more opportunities came up and i love my current job! honestly it's so much fun and i've made so many wonderful gal pals from doing this so if this is something you want you should totally go for it!!
✮ ad-hoc shoots
this has been the most interesting experience for me so far because i've worked with so many brands and products/food(?) freelancing is honestly so fun because of all the new experiences and people you get to meet!
✮ content creation and affiliate marketing
this is kind of between an income stream and passion project for me because sometimes i suffer from “creator burnout” BUT i do believe that it is such a great opportunity to monetise yourself especially if you genuinely enjoy filming and editing!
i couldn't imagine myself having any other side hustle because these totally line up with my interests and it's so flexible when i'm studying/working full time! i used to be and still overthink/ get super nervous when i get new opportunities but this has taught me to grab opportunities when i can and enjoy the ride! 🤍
