Hello crochet girlies! 💫 I started crocheting regularly just a few months back and I have a few fun, cute, yet beginner-friendly projects (with tips) to share! You really don’t have to be pro in order to create beautiful pieces!

These projects consists of simple & easy to follow patterns, which eventually you just have to repeat a few rounds to complete the piece (built from basic crochet techniques, no challenging twists and turns!)

    1. Flower keychain pouch 🌼

Super cute pouch to hang on your bags, enough to store your airpods, lip tints, or other knick knacks~

Focuses mainly on basic crochet stitches, learning to create a magic circle, and changing the colour of your yarn

    ⏳Time taken: 30-45 minutes

🧶Yarn and hook used: Milk yarn/Acrylic yarn, 3mm crochet hook

    2. Lily bag charm/ Plant hanger 🌱🌷

One of my favourite pieces to work on because of how versatile it is ~ Mix and match the colours of your lilies or vine to create something to your aesthetic!

Focuses on learning how to move from a flat magic circle to a dome-like shape and how to combine separate pieces of work together

🌟Tip: Do not rush the project, count your stitches carefully (use a stitch marker if you need!) and you will eventually get the perfect dome shape for your lilies!

⏳Time taken: ~1 hr (for 2 lilies on the vine)

🧶Yarn and hook used: Milk yarn/Acrylic yarn, 5mm crochet hook

    3. Crochet cat dish 🐱

Sooo absolutely ADORABLE. I am currently using it store my rings and bracelets, but you can also use it as a coaster, key dish, etc. !

Focuses on learning how to create a dish from a magic circle and piecing together different components

🌟Tip: The tail of the cat will be the most challenging step here, if you are struggling to see each round of stitches – use a crochet hook to poke through the centre of the tail & stretch the tail outwards, it should help a little!

    ⏳Time taken: ~2 hrs

🧶Yarn and hook used: Milk yarn/Acrylic yarn, 3.5mm crochet hook

    4. Strappy bikini top 👙

I used to dislike making tops because of how tedious it gets, but this gorgeous bikini top was surprisingly very manageable! The size is also slightly adjustable around the rib given that its a tie-back top, so you don’t have to be too precise about the measurements!

Focuses on learning how to create bra cups and some new stitches to give your design some extra flare!

🌟Tip: For the bra cup, I would recommend ending each round with a chain 1 before going up to the next round! – I found that this helped me maintain a smooth line at the base of the cup (cleaner work!)

    ⏳Time taken: ~3 hrs

🧶Yarn and hook used: Acrylic yarn (you can also use milk yarn, but i prefer my bikini tops to be slightly sturdier so acrylic is recommended!), 5mm crochet hook

Hope these projects will help you create your first crochet pieces and build your confidence in crocheting! Have fun loves ~
