Do you believe that choosing the right homeware can make your life more efficient? 🤔 Practicality + functionality are definitely two of the main must-haves when we buy things for our home.

In this post, we’ll be sharing some home items that we think make our lives more efficient. They are from a local brand called Dwellogi✨, whose motto is to ‘create joy by allowing you to do less’ (which is why their logo is a sloth, so cute 😭). They pride themselves by only selling products that make your daily chores much simpler!

Their aesthetics remind me so much of Muji (but without the price tag), and we always love a brand with a story. You can find them on dwellogi.com and on Shopee under the same name.

✨ Here are some of our top picks – they have definitely made our lives more efficient and chores more bearable:

    1. Double-sided chopping board 🔪🥒🥩🐟

We love this double-sided chopping board because we can use it to chop both veggies and meat/fish! We no longer need to buy separate boards for different purposes which also helps reduce clutter in our kitchen. Both sides of the board are also designed differently depending on their purpose, e.g : the veggie side has a built-in grater, and the meat side has spikes to help the meat stay in place and a slanted design to help collect excess juice.

    2. Lazy Susan ⚪️🥫🧂

We didn’t know we needed a lazy Susan, until we started storing our condiments in the cabinet and had to take the entire condiment box out every time we needed it. The Lazy Susan comes with a rotating base that makes it easy for us to access the things we need! We also like how it’s nicely sized, big enough to store the essentials but still small enough to store inside our cabinets.

    3. Quilt Storage Box 📦🛏️

We have a guest bedroom, which also means that we have a lot of spare beddings that we need to keep when we don’t have any guests staying with us. We used to just toss the beddings inside our cabinets, but these things are bulky and take up too much space in our wardrobe. Using a storage box, we are able to somewhat ‘compress’ the beddings inside the box for easier storage. Because it is inside the box, it also enables us to store it in other places like our storage room or under the bed.

    4. Cable Organiser 〰️➰➿

We have 3252425131 cables at home, with all the electronics that we have and what not. Naturally, finding the right one to use can take forever at times. A cable organiser has definitely saved us a lot of time from trying to find the right cable to use.

    5. Electric Brush 🧽⚡️

Who else hates scrubbing the toilet? We get mouldy tiles all the time because our home has poor sunlight + ventilation and scrubbing the toilet has been a dreaded but necessary chore for us every week. We like this electric brush because it is easy to use, with interchangeable brush heads depending on what you need. When turned on, the brush head rotates and helps clean your floor from any dirt ✨ It comes with an extendable rod and is fully chargeable by USB. The brush heads are also easy to clean, and despite it being white, dirt doesn’t cling to it ✅

    6. Sink Organiser 🫧🧼🧽💦

As mentioned above, our home has poor sunlight – which means our sink area gets mouldy really easily. We often saw dead flies in the same area too 😭, which were probably attracted by moisture around the space. We love this sink organiser because it helps keep most of our essentials above the counter, so we can easily wipe the surface dry after each use. We haven’t seen any mould or flies in the area since, so it must be working!
