It is hard to have a reno without a single regret! One of our regret thus far (luckily a minor one) would be to have a more accessible but hidden fridge socket. Our current one, while hidden, would require us to shift the entire fridge out should we wish to off it. Definitely inconvenient but not the worst reno regret! It was somewhat minor for us to think of and realise during the reno and electrical planning phase.
What really made sense for us after months of living in was to have a counter top height tailored to the household members, and also laminate that isnt obvious even with stains or with finger prints. Kitchen cabinets and drawers tend to be handled rather frequently and often when the hands may be oily or not the cleanest. So it definitely helps if the colour of the laminate and texture of the laminate is easier to maintain overtime! While most ID companies do ABS trimming for carpentry, it is still best to check to ensure the longevity of your carpentry!
