BUT WONDERING WHERE OR HOW TO START ?
Just a little fyi before we begin:
im currently enrolled in SSDC located at Woodlands and its just taking WAY TOO LONG, >1yr and ongoing 👎🏻 (soo booo and its not because im a slow learner!)
1) How to enroll:
(enrol here) book an appointment as you need to make a trip down to sign some documents regardless if you want to enrol school or private to pay for registration fee. (~$179.05 for school / ~$20 for private)
2) CONS for school:
•There are limited slots available 🥵
The release of slots on the website is not consistent (dont have a fix time/date/day) hence you need to actively check in order to book a slot.
—— alternatively, you can pay a bot on tele/carousell to notify you when there is a release of slot as well (~$5 to $10)
•Slow and long process to complete
Instructors have to follow the subjects depending on how fast you learned based on the guide book that you will receive upon enrolment and there are up to 32 subjects. 😩😩
•Costly💰
Each lesson cost $72 to $81 for 100min
Total cost for school will cost >$2500 depending on how fast you learn and how many times you take your TP test. As for private, the lowest it can cost is >$1800 !! But do take note that the fees for TP is much higher compared to school !!
3) PROS for school
•Very experienced instructors
On the bright side of having meticulous instructors, they will ensure you are well equipped with the correct skills before advancing you to the next subject.
(Some of them have been in this field for more than 20years so you can rest assured that you are in safe hands 🙌🏻 !!)
Chances of getting the same instructors are slim however based on my experience, all the instructors ive encountered so far were extremely nice !!
(they are like a friend ive not met for a long time) 👨🏻🦳
•Giving advises
They are more aware and will emphasis on the importance of what to look out during the TP test which ultimately helps you a lot as it comes as a form of reminder!!
(etc being reminded t constantly check blindspot/mirrors)
4) Tips:
•BTT and FTT – Try to complete them as soon as possible as its similar !!
•If you are heading towards applying for private instructors, do it quick as there aren’t many anymore especially when government do not approve their license anymore !!
