this is such a phenomenal masterpiece about growing up queer in 1980s Glasgow filled with sectarian conflicts. It is a story about trauma and abuse yet it is a story about love, courage, and strength. I am beyond obsessed with the psychological and thrilling narration provided with a series of intersecting flashbacks. This is a boon you have to read in your 20s!
