    MY HALL PAGEANT EXPERIENCE

I became a pageant for my hall and here's some things i wish i had known before accepting being a paggie!✨

    1. the type: you can participate in either hall pageant or faculty orientation pageant! i had to choose between both because you can't participate in both simultaneously. i picked hall pageant because i felt that it was more convenient for me!

    2. the commitment: i struggled to balance my studies and training sessions as it can end super late like 1am+ and i had many morning classes. i ended up being sleep deprived and rushing my lesson materials. tbh i still don't know how i pushed through because i would study till 4am after trainings end at 1am and only get 3 hours of sleep before i wake up at 8am for class

    3. the photoshoots: there will be photoshoots and thank you to our pnp's for really giving us the best treatment and quality pictures! i loved it so much hehe

    4. the thorough discussion: i regret not asking enough questions like will the gown be sponsored, will trainings really end on time and what should you be aware of. i guess i was still new to everything and so i didn't even know what i don't know and what questions to ask! you should also ask if you will be required to wear bikini and sensitive things like that. i strongly believe that clarifying your doubts to your pageant coordinators will help you decide whether to commit to being a pageantee!

Overall: Do it at your own risk! Having a good starting gpa is really important 😮‍💨 If you trust yourself to balance your studies and trainings then i think you will have the best experience 😁

My BIGGEST takeaway is of course my pageant partner who became my boyfriend❤️
