I’m definitely not the only person doing this, much less the first to do it or whatever, there’s also people doing it more frequently than me & what not so disclaimer these are just ideas for you to try out!
One of the best things to do alone is definitely to eat alone, but people often tell me they feel judged or are simply still learning to be comfortable with eating out in a restaurant or stall alone, which is completely understandable & acceptable 🙂
To take away the aspect of people looking on at you, how about simply moving to a place with no one to start 🕺
Imagine a rooftop dinner with no one around, just you, your meal, the sunset & the pretty skies! Watch the sun set slowly as the sky changes colour every minute or so until it’s eventually dark.
Why you should do this:
1. Gives yourself time & space to think in an open area
2. No fear of judgement
A suggested location would be People’s Park Complex in Chinatown, or the rooftop gardens of shopping malls work too!
Tip: Prepare a mat if you’re wearing light coloured bottoms & don’t wanna dirty them 👍🏻
