Was here for a client’s lunch in end June earlier this year. Odette has been on my To-Go List for years! Singapore has three 3-Michelin Star Restaurants and Odette has been on that list since 2019. Odette has also won first place in Asia's 50 Best Restaurants in 2020 💫

The meal begin with some grignotages – love the Comté Gougères most (a choux pastry filled with cheese 🧀)! If you cant take raw food, you can let them know and they will switch it up for you.

Truffle mushroom tea was very fragrant and the black truffle slices have a slight crunch to it. I personally love this dish the most! 🍄☕️ Coupled with the bread platter, the truffle bun was so good that I wanted to ask for a second serving. The sourdough sadly wasnt to our liking that we left 3 out of the 4 pieces untouched.

We were served three other dishes before our mains. 2 out of the 3 are not worth mentioning but the scallop dish is not bad though I’m not particularly blown away. Main dish is Lamb Saddle – said to be the tenderest of all cuts. I was v disappointed though bcos the lamb served to me was quite tough though the other three plates were okay.

Douceurs were served to end off our meal and I love the Canelés and fruits! Each diner is also gifted a jar of strawberry jam to take home. I’m not a fan of jam so no comments 😅

My personal take is that the meal isnt worth the price tag. I’ve been to many Michelin restaurants and fine dining restaurants which serves up really good food (ie. Sommer which I went to on the same week). Perhaps, the 3-starred status hyped my expectations up too much and given that the cheapest meal here without any add-ons will set you back by at least $400 per pax, I expected more.

As this was a business lunch, I didnt have the luxury to take a ton of artistic pictures. Ambience wise, the main dining hall is pretty lively and crowded for a weekday lunch. Service is overall pretty good! So if you’re looking to dine here, do make your reservations by this year before the additional 1% GST kick in next year. Reservations are accepted 60 days in advance.
