Hello everyone, so recently I dined with my family at DB bistro and bar oyster bar, needless to say it was a huge meh.. like a 5/10 kinda standard. Tbh, the service was really good but the food was just disappointing im general. I had a good birthday tho, so that’s a plus😁. Anyways, I’ll be giving ratings for both the foods and services!

🐌 Escargot ⭐️⭐️
Honestly, and I’m being very serious, the escargot was tasteless and although it did have a rich garlic taste, it lacked other seasonings especially salt. Kinda disappointed with this one bc I love escargots like legit ok🥲.
🦞Lobster Bisque⭐️⭐️
This one was also something my fam and I didn’t really like. Imo, it was a bit to rich in cream had a strong taste to it, like yknow the kind where you’ll dislike it after I guess.
🐟Tuna Niçose⭐️
Nothing much to say but it was bland and boring and not worth the price ($28) 💀☠️
🍠 Crushed Purple Potatoes⭐️
Same as the one above and it wasn’t smashed or crushed it was diced.
🥓Tarte Flambée⭐️⭐️
It was ok but I wouldn’t pay $20 for that

This was not bad! It had a really nice twist to the taste and there were lots of crab meat😋. I liked it but my fam didn’t.
🦞 New England Lobster Roll⭐️
Tbh this was one of the worst mains, it was bland and had barley any lobster… it’s not worth the money.

This was ok it just didn’t come w bread like they normally serve in France.
🐓 Herb Roasted Chicken For 2⭐️⭐️
This was ok, nothing great just had a huge portion.
🎉Birthday Madeleines⭐️⭐️⭐️
A surprise after my meal, really soft and had a mild sweet taste. I liked this one a lot!
Overall, vibes are nice service is good but I think it’s not worth the $$$.
