i had my early birthday celeb w my bf @ col last weekend and had the best time ever💋

mushroom risotto balls:
this dish wasn’t on their menu but they were getting people to taste it for reviews but omg it was my fav thing i ate at this place bc i love risotto & the crispy texture that coated the risotto was actually so amazing bc it tasted SO much btr than it looks!!!!!! my bf rlly liked it too so hehe i hope they add this to their menu and i’ll def come bk for more ^.^
wood-oven baked gnocchi:
this was what i came for bc i saw that it was butternut flavored which im a huge fan of so i had to try it.. and it def didn’t disappoint! the flavor of the butternut was just nice and not too overpowering😋 but i didn’t rlly fancy the bunch of rocket leaves ontop of the dish bc i find it q bitter in general but it’s ok coz i js put it to one side HAHA my fav was the small chunks of butternut w walnuts bc it complimented this dish rlly well tgt
COL burger:
my bf ordered a burger bc he’s a basic bitch but i thought the patty was so huge honestly like i prob couldn’t finish the whole burger myself BUT I DIDNT TAKE A PIC OF IT bc my bf devoured it so quickly :<
the burger was quite red in the middle so for those who want it more well done mayb u can make a request but personally i eat my steak as rare as possible so😀 it was yummy to me. my bf didn’t love the hot sauce ketchup in the burger coz he said it was kinda sour but that being said, means i liked it bc i love everything sour LOL tuff take on this dish bc of our contrasting opinions…

our waiter was super friendly and soo nice, he made sure we had the best experience!!! he even prepared a plate of sorbet dessert since i was celebrating my birthday😭 so sweet of them & the sorbet was so bomb and refreshing af yum

this place was a lot bigger than i expected and i loved the dim lighting sm, it rlly did represent classy yet casual london restaurants so it was rlly nice🎀
☆ overall
i had such a good time here and i enjoyed the food + my cake which we got from a nearby cake shop, fieldnotes! i think it’s a great place to celebrate any occasions since they have tables for both larger groups and couples :3
