Buffets. I. LOVE. BUFFETS. Something about the idea of eating as much as you can for a fixed price just gets me everytime. So when my sister told me about this Beauty-in-the-pot inspired hotpot buffet for just $22.90++ i was immediately sold.

We went to Paradise Hotpot at Compass One on a Saturday late afternoon and were lucky enough to get a seat for 2 without a reservation. If you’re gonna visit this, please get a reservation – and double check if its the correct location . Apparently there were multiple people who booked the wrong place and had to wait in the end 🙊

But my first vibes of this place is – BITP. Well, technically they are from the same company so i had high-hopes for this place. Boy, THEY ATE AND LEFT NO CRUMBS.

We were brought in to choose our soup bases and ingredients first and we could get individual pots (yay!!) so more flavours for us to try! We were then led to this big comfy seat, can we just have a moment for their really comfortable seats… it was literally a sofa and for the price of $22.90… i almost teared up.

The food was replenished really quickly and for the value set you could get the normal pork slices you’ll order, fish paste and tofu. It was thinner than usual, but im not complaining.

The condiments selection weren’t as much but they had light appetisers such as the salad and free-flow sour plum juice! ✨🤓

A MUST TRY: Their braised pork rice and their nuggets. Before you judge me, hear me out. Their braised pork rice is really savoury and soft, a great appetiser i would say. And their nuggets bring me back to childhood days as they tasted like those sold at swimming pool canteens. They were the best.

All in all, i would give this a 5/⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐, because I really can’t find anything to complain about. Service is good, food was great, chairs super comfy.
