if you’re looking for a place to get dinner + dessert without so much of a budget in mind 💸, tanjong pagar is honestly one of the places to go! ☁️🐸 it’s definitely one of me & my friends’ favourite hang out spots, just because there are so many food choices available there 🤤
over the years, we’ve visited these restaurants multiple times now, & their food have never failed to put a smile on our faces! here are our favourite places to go:
🌱 lad & dad:
– one of the best uk-style fish and chips in sg 🎣
– superrrr duperrrrr crunchy batter, generous filling of fish
– green pea mash was actually quite good too, even though we did not like green peas 🫛
– outdoor sitting, no air conditioning 🥵 (bad for hot n humid nights…)

🌱 blue label pizza:
– MY FAV PIZZA PLACE!!!!! 🍕😋
– amazing ambience, super nice for date nights!!!!
– my fav pizza was “the white label”, which was sooo sinful but so yummy.. 😭😭 the goat cheese was surprisingly not as game-y as I expected, & went really well with the leeks!
– the honey garlic sriracha chicken wings 🍗 are a good side to order, as well as the state fare fries 🍟 (the truffle taste could be stronger tbh)

🌱 quiec by olivia:
– THE BEST cheesecake in sg I swear 😭
– the texture of this cheesecake is unlike no other, it’s molten in the middle & absolutely creamy, melts in your mouth!!! 🥺🤤💦
– perfect balance of texture & taste, not too strong/ mild!!!!
– $16++ (not incl gst & service charge) for a slice, but i’m honestly willing to pay for this amazing cheesecake.
🌱 red holic:
– for all tteokbokki lovers!!! 🤭
– the tteokbokki was sooo chewy i loved it so much!!!
– we got their signature plain tteokbokki in original spicy to share (2-3 pax) & it had the perfect amount of spice 🌶️ (my friend who can’t take spice was dying slightly, but she enjoyed it a lot)
– we added on a pork cutlet, which soaked up the thick sauce & tasted sooo good!!!!!

🌱 dopa dopa:
– one of my fav gelato places!
– hand-made gelatos that were made from their specialty nut paste
– super fresh as these are made daily, & kept in these metal tins so you know they’re legit ✨
– their roasted pistachio is a crowd favourite~

– try to go slightly earlier as they get pretty crowded (around 8:30pm)

🌱 apiary:
– decent ice cream, not my fav but one of my go-tos
– blue milk (a bit too sweet for me, but quite interesting!) & apiary (honey + cacao nibs) are my favs!! their pistachio is pretty good also

i have so many more favourite places that I frequent in Tanjong Pagar area, but these are truly my top places over the years! 🫶 there’s so much variety of food there, & i can’t wait to try them all!!! 💸🥺
