I love desserts and even though there are so many dessert spots in sg, it’s difficult to find a place that serves authentic Japanese sweets.
Onné cafe is a new addition to Kampong Bharu (located just a minute away from Plain vanilla. It is a quaint cafe with wooden furnitures which matches the vibes. They specialises in Japanese fusion dishes and handmade warabi mochi‼️
We tried~
Warabi mochi
Heard that it was limited daily so we had to try this. $8 for a good portion and great for sharing. It is served with kinako and Japanese black sugar syrup. It’s soft and has a light bite to it, one of the more authentic warabi mochi in sg.
Matcha mochi waffle
AMAZING waffle that is so crispy one the outside and soft and chewy inside. I love how the waffle is seasoned with sweet matcha wow. The mochi is like an amazing addition which gives a bite to it. You can choose to have it with and without a scoop of ice cream.
Overall: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Highly recommended to try it out!!! Will be back for more and to try out their main dishes too. Btw, you can study or get your work done there too✨
