hi lovelies, here’s some thoughts i have on my lemon8 journey as a digital diary so faaaaar heheh 🤪✨
i’m quite cautious 👀 about posting personal thoughts or experiences on social media because i tink at the back of my head 🧠, i’m always quite anxious about how others would perceive me esp badly 🥺🥺 BUT i have decided to courageously create content on lemon8 🍋 because it looked FUN & quite easy to do so 🙌🏻 +++ i find that the environment is q friendly & warm hehe after a month of j scrollingggg v infomational, educational content🌝🌻
AND NOW, i’m q an avid lemon8 poster hahaha so here’s some things i appreciate about lemon8 as a space to create content & post whatever i LIKE 💛:
🌻don’t need any followings to ensure visibility
• as long as your cover image & caption heading is ✨interesting & attractive✨ + adding relevant hashtags, people will indeed see & tap! lemon8sg also has lots of tips on posting so u definitely dont have to worri 🤍🤍🤍
• really appreciate how lemon8 gives everi1 a voice & space :>
🌻 wide variety of tools to design
• i didn’t have any prior experience in designing heheh but lemon8 has such a WIDE variety of templates & fonts to choose from 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 that it is really easy to make my posts aesthetically pleasing w/o having to edit heavily 🌷🌷🌷
• really simple & easy to just create & post whatever i likeeee 🥹🥹🥹 so if ure worried about having a lack of content creation skills, u really dont have to be!
• i dont really use templates and i only use 2 go-to lemon8 tools to personalise my content which are the fonts: AlbraSemi for my titles & SongMyung for any other captions ☁️☁️☁️ AND THAT’S IT hahahaha
🌻 warm, friendly & safe environment
• i rmb i was a bit hesitant 👉🏻👈🏻 to introduce my handdrawn botakbolly telegram sticker packs on lemon8 because i mean it’s not as good as other digital illustrators out thereee but i still wanted to showcase my doodles hehe SO i decided to trust lemon8’s friendly environment 👀🫧🫧🫧
• AND i was really so happi that it was well-received!! That post was my most-liked post & there were quite a few kind and sweet comments telling me they were going to save my packs & that it was cute 🥹🤍🤍🤍 THANK U i really felt more confident about posting more personal works 🥺🌷
• also, i love the fact that lemon8 feels like a safe enough space that others would share with me their thoughts on my personal experiences 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 (i.e volunteering etc) & i really love reading the thoughts 💭 of others~
so if u’re hesitant about posting, i hope the above would assure uuu not to be! my journey 🛣️ on lemon8 has been q enjoyable & worri-free thus far 🤍
self-care: it’s just that i have been reflecting & one reminder i have to myself when posting is to not compare myself w others & “likes” or “saves” does not totally represent how much others perceive me & my content 💛💛💛
