I think I was one of the first people to pre-order the iPhone 15 Pro😂 It has been months of following up on the news of the iPhone 15. I've read news about it before any accurate detail of the phone has been revealed. I was really eager to upgrade my phone!
On pre-order day, I set my alarm right at 8:00PM. I had the apple website already opened in my Chrome App. Turns out, after refreshing the page twice, the pre-order wasn't live yet. But it was on Shopee so I ordered from there🤭
Point of this is not where I ordered it from, but just to show how eager I was to have this phone!
On launch day, the phone was delivered to me and I wasted no time unboxing and setting it up.
2 nights ago, my phone overheated for the first time. I left it to charge (on the original charger head + 1m cable) on my bed.
Thereafter, a lot of people have been sharing links to articles talking about iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max models being super prone to overheating😂
Thing is, I still super love my new iPhone. I think its amazingly light, and has an incredible camera. Though it may not look like it on Instagram and stuff,
I think its also due to the fact that the app has to compress the videos whenever we upload.
The overheating thing has only happened to me once. I've learnt not to leave my phone on the bed charging anymore since there is less ventilation and it'll just heat up between the phone and bedsheet. Whenever I charge it on a surface, I've never had such an issue. Neither when I use my phone as it's charging (exactly what I've been doing the past 1 hour).
If buying the latest phone is not your thing and you feel its unnecessary, I completely agree with you:) But don't forget there are some people who are upgrading from really old iPhone models, so don't be quick to tease just because you don't have/need one.
