Hello zesties and my art followers! How are you? Hope life has been treating you well. Today, i wanna share how I sold one of my original paintings to an art collector! He's not just any art collector… He's a bunny art collector 🐰. My meeting with this art collector is a serendipitous one. I did a weekend pop-up in July and met many people. One of them happened to be a bunny art collector. When he first came to my booth, I introduced myself and showed him my prints and stickers. Just so happens that I was selling my first half of zodiac art prints (rabbit, pig, dragon, ox, horse, rooster), and just so happens he only collects artworks related to bunnies. He asked me if I had the original painting of the rabbit and that he wanted to buy the painting 🤯. My first reaction was, “whut?! Is he for real?” I didn't have the painting with me during the pop-up, so I suggested that we exchange contact numbers to keep in touch. Fast forward to the week after the pop-up, we met up at my studio and I showed him the original painting. He made payment on the spot and bought the painting! (I still find it hard to believe that someone actually bought my painting!) I asked him why he only collects artworks related to bunnies only and he said because rabbit is his chinese zodiac sign. Everything was a coincidence and i guess you could call it SERENDIPITOUS. I'm super grateful for such fateful encounters and I learned how important it is to put my works out there and have an open mind! You never know what kind of interesting encounters you might experience. To the bunny art collector, thank you so much for your support.
