For those who love experimenting new scents and making something uniquely yours, head down to Scentopia at Sentosa!
We booked via Klook for about $80/pax (usual price on their website is $95). It’s a 1.5-2 hours session and comes with 50ml of perfume that you can bring home. They have the 100ml option too, Klook is selling at about $106 (usual price on website is $125).
🌸 PERSONALITY TEST
We first started off with a personality test consisting of 10 questions. Each questions have 5 options: A-E. Tbh, I felt that for a few questions none of the options fits me 😂
After answering 10 questions, we then have to count how many of each alphabet did we chose as our answers. Mine was pretty evenly split: 2 A, 2 B, 1 C, 2 D and 3 E. A is for Citrus scent; B for Fresh; C for Floral; D for Woody and E for Oriental. So I guess i’m a slightly more oriental person (?) hahaha.
🌸 CHOOSING OUR SCENTS
We then chose our scents according to our personality test. So for me I chose 2 Citrus scents, 2 fresh scents so on and so forth, to a total of 10 scents. You can choose more or less than 10 scents, totally up to personal preference. I think the max is 20 scents. They have lots of selection for both male and female. I chose an equal mix of male and female scents because some male scents smell so good too!! They have a total of 120 scents so definitely took awhile to choose and decide. I love that their scents have such pun-y names hahah (see pic 5 😆)
🌸 EXPERIMENTING THE SCENTS
After finally deciding the scents, we proceeded to mix our scents together. So we first started off with one pump per scent to see whether the mix works. I was pretty quick as I felt the scent was great for me and I liked it. I have friends that took awhile to finalise their mix as they might have felt it being too sweet or too light. Good thing is the staff actually will also help to give recommendations if you face problems with finding the suitable scent or mix. For instance, if you felt it being too light, they may add another pump of one scent to make it stronger. Once finalised, the staff will assist to prepare the final product according to the scents you chose!
✨MY EXPERIENCE
Great experience creating my own scent. Although it was an individual activity, felt like we actually get to know each other better too as we were smelling everyone’s perfume and discussing about the scents and mixtures. Would recommend it as a hen’s night activity 🌟
