Part One
Hi everyone!
I am currently postop18 in recovery.
This whole entire process of surgery was a long one, the decision to do it (biggest one, worth taking all the time to consider), where to do it and of course the biggest question, do i really want to do it? is this a passing fad on my part..it was indeed a long process of thought and consideration.
In researching experiences from people who have done it, i have found that there werent many complete accounts from people who have gone through surgery and so, i hope that this write up from me would help someone who is seriously considering plastic surgery.
Please do enough research as this involves your body, its worth every duty of care from you. Especially so when you do decide to take this overseas away from home ground, it demands alot of attention and duty of care for your own safety.
****DISCLAIMER**** I am not advocating plastic surgery, this is just my personal experience that i am sharing, hope it helps someone who is researching for key info regarding this, i just hope it points you to the right direction and that you are fully aware and prepared for whats comin.
This account is true to the best of my knowledge.
And here we go, lengthy post ahead:
Where: Braun plastic surgery
Procedures done:
Eyes- medial canthoplasty, ptosis correction, incisional blephroplasty
Nose-osteonomy (donar rib, ear cartilage, silicon implant)
Breast augmentation with motiva implants, 295cc round, dual plane, inframmary
I will pen prices here on my post as this was what i paid, most posts out there omit this for reasons unknown, it could be they were sponsered, whatever it was, it made the research very tedious, so i hope this helps you make a decision.
As i am not an influencer or anybody, these are what i paid.
Op done on 7th nov 2023 price was: (in kwn)
Eyes:
Blephroplasty with ptosis correction 2.6mil
Medial epicanthoplasty 1.4mil
Nose: 5.7mil
Breast augmentation with motiva: 13mil
5% discount was given to me for eyes and nose.
The coordinator mentioned to me that for motiva implants is kind of a controlled price and so no discount can be given. The cheaper option are mentor implants but i had already set my decision to use motiva, so mentor was not in the consideration.
In no way saying mentor is bad, but this is just my perference because i had done quite alot of reading on implants and so i had already decided motiva was the best for me, if anything, i have read that mentor remain one of the safest implants still in the market till today. So please research more on brand implants to help you make a decision, both have their pros and cons. Its all about choosing the best implant that can give you what you looking for and fit you right. This discussion has to be done with your own reading and with the surgeon:)
These prices exclude a 10% vat which was paid when i arrived at the hospital to settle the payment fully, you will be asked to pay on the day of surgery before they do anything to you.
**Note: you will get a tax refund of around 7-8% at the airport when you depart, please make sure to retain ur receipt and go early to the airport to do the tax refund**the tax counter do not credit the refund to your card, they instead offer you the refund in cash, major currencies like usd, kwn and 2 other currencies(apologize i cannot remember) so choose wisely ya?
I was asked to pay 10% of the procedures to book the date and doctor when i had decided to go with them, so do note.
This deposit is refundable as such should you change your mind:

>> 3 days before surgery : 90% refundable
>> 2 days before surgery : 50% refundable
>> 1 day before surgery : 20% refundable
>> On the day of surgery : non-refundable
Lets talk about what im happy about:
The Doctors@Braun
Dr Lee Ji Won-Nose and Breast
Very mild mannered doctor who really listens to what i had to say regarding concerns.
He emphasized alot on “will do it such that it suits your overall features”
Post surgery, you will really take comfort in this because your mind before surgery is such that you want the highest nose, you want the biggest boobs. But it all boils down to what suits you in the first place in reality, you need a doctor that hears you but at same time, excercise discretion on where is ur golden ratio. For example, whilst we were discussing my nose, i told him to that my nose wings bother me as well, admist the broad bulbous tip and so i wanted to do an alarplasty. However, he gently said that an alarplasty is not needed after constructing my tip as the projection will now make the alars narrow. Tho still early in recovery now with some swelling, i am happy that he didnt do it else we are gonna be vibing voldemort. Not a good lookXD. Cutting too much is a problem, too little, you can go back and cut again i guess? In moderation is key. He also noticed somewhere around upper mid section of my nose bridge there 2 bumps, something that was not addressed from other surgeons that i had seen. This was fixed as well. Nose bridge now is pretty and straight as a result, highly possible its gonna look even better after the swelling goes down.
Nose splint came off i was like, “dayum now that is a nose bridge!!”
For the breasts, boob greed is a thing i understand. However, there are limitations. Your chest width is that limitation, being a small tiny frame, i was unable to take a bigger implant size. I am happy that he went as large as he could safely go.
295cc was put in at surgery but 280cc was what was discussed in office. My boobs are gonna be about a small C cup, which is sufficient as i have a small frame. My thoughts on this is that i am thankful he excercised caution with this, you will feel thankful in recovery as the pain is real(quite painful ya ladies just being real honest)and the weight of the implants are real too in my opinion. We do need to think about skin elasticity, implant showing up at the skin surface, sagging, the sheer weight of these implants on your frame, less is more than enough, these implants are gonna be with you for 10 to 15years. Depending on your body frame, 295cc may sound small but when you are 156cm and 37kg, this 295cc is actually the right frame for my size. I still wanna be mobile and gymming and doing my circuits(cant wait) One of the things you will miss while undergoing plastic surgery is missing out on work outs, a hiatus of 1 month is adviced and even than no vigorous high intensity or weight lifting. So please note this. You will risk displacement and injury.
I feel like credit has to be mentioned in his stitch work? Not enough mentions have been given to surgeons with beautiful stitch work. Scarring becomes your second worry postop, not enough has been written about this. Sure, this depends on your skin integrity however, i just wanna mention his stitch work on my nose, at postop18, op done on 7th nov, the stitch under my nose tip is almost fading. Im not a medical person and this is my 1st time undergoing surgery, but i believe his stitch skill had a part to play.
The inframmary stitch under my boobs are also very neat and healing well, had them looked by my gp in sg and he mention they are looking good.
We are just waiting for the 2 week mark before its ok if the sterile strips fall off.
Overall, Dr Lee was very communicative and he listens. A trait important for a plastic surgeon.
Gelity and vibe is also important in selecting your doctor so please consult a few surgeons and ask many questions before deciding. A peace of mind is so important before proceeding.
Dr Lee Wu Seub-Eyes
Very affable doctor.
He was able to speak english and would chip in once i was done talking if he could say it in english.
That was such a comfort to me as it felt like he was listening to whatever was my concerns.
I must say, after a ptosis correction, my whole world has changed.
Pre surgery all i thought was i wanna have some eyelids in here. But after consulting, i realized to get a bright eyed look, there are many facets to ensure you get bright eyed!
I no longer need to strain my forehead muscles to open my eyes. It feels like as if my eye muscles have been strengthened if that makes any sense.
The feeling is so life changing, the forehead muscles can finally rest, a huge, after years of frowning whenever i look at something.
I love the eyelids now it definately opens up my eyes, as he said to me just before i knocked out: “you are gonna have pretty eyes, dont worry”
Trust me thats such a comfort to hear just before the anaesthesia kicks in and you go lala land.
Something else i would like to mention, for anyone afraid of pain. I was told that for the eyes they cannot put you fully to sleep, as the surgeon would need you to open n close the eye during the procedure. Leading up to the surgery, i was super frightened about this, as in my imaginative mind, i was thinking of a freak situation like in a saw movie. You would awake to a sickening shocking world of pain coz you can feel all pain from your cut up eyelids.
Rest assured, you will feel and remember nothing from the eyelid procedure. The only thing i remembered was dr lee ws telling me eyes gonna be pretty and than it was black out time. XD
Stitch work from Dr Lee ws is beautiful as well, postop18 today the eyelid stitching have reduced to neat lines. Minimal brusing but its fading everyday, almost gone this morning when i woke.
Stitch work is important i guess for eyes.
Cant wait to play around with makeup and goodbye eyelid tape, lets break up!!
I will stop here for part one.
Part two i will cover aftercare and the paramedical staff of Braun, things got abit sticky, im glad it was over.
As i had consulted with hospitals in thailand and taiwan, i may also share my findings in part 2.
