was scouting for the cheapest hair salon in SG to dye my hair, & i chanced upon hv_vanguard on insta & i went for a BLUE BALAYAGE! 💙 total i paid $128 which includes CUT + BLEACH + COLOUR + TREATMENT! 😱🤩✨
here are some of my thoughts about it:
– initially i was quite skeptical as the replies were dry when i contacted them to book an appt (no deposit required fyi). booking was smooth & fast.
– the interior design gives off a very japanese & woody vibes with sakura & neon lights hanging on the ceiling, vapourwave tapestries of japanese folklore & art (e.g. hokusai waves) + anime manga wallpapers pasted on all walls. 🌊🌸
– when i went thr, thr's only 1 hair stylist AKA the ladyboss (i think)… 😮
– ladyboss looks ard 50 y.o., but i may be wrong because she dressed until v young with chains & accessories & a high mauve-coloured ponytail HAHAHA LOOKING SO SWAG 🔥
– ladyboss is knowledgeable, informative & skillful – she shared with me tips on how to take care of coloured + bleached hair in order to maintain the colour + nourish the dried hair! 🌟
– ladyboss is also very sweet – she fed me with chocolate like mannnn i wasn't expecting that at all 🥺 (see pic 4; didnt eat everyth cos i wasnt a fan but she was understanding as well 💓)
– 1 downside was that the hair stylist/salon cape smelled a lil, so u may wna bring a perfume.
– salon was cold too (but comfy hehe) so do wear a long sleeve top before she puts on the cape!
