Hey friends! If you’re the type to go for beauty treatments (hair treatments, facials, etc), you’ll know that the salespeople at these places can be very pushy.
If you go for a cheap trial, they’ll ALWAYS pressurize you to buy and sign for a large package, often costing thousands of dollars.
And regardless of what you tell them, they seem to always have a way of countering it.
For example, if you say it’s too expensive, they’ll say:
– “It’s an investment in your skin/hair/XX! Don’t you want to take care of yourself?”
– “You can pay by installments on your credit card.”
– “You don’t have the luxury of not doing this, your skin/hair/XX really needs it.”
But I’ve came up with a FOOLPROOF way of shutting them up.
Whenever I say this one thing, they honestly have nothing much to say and they just let me go after that.
Just say… “Cannot la, my husband/wife will scold me.”
(It doesn't matter whether you are married, in a r/s, or single. Just blame it on your “husband” or “wife”!)
I’ve tried this multiple times and EVERY TIME, it works like a charm.
The consultant/salesperson normally stops pressurising me and I can escape easily after that 😛
