I have always been troubled by my acne prone skin, and I’ve always been going for facial sessions to pop and squeeze my acnes. It worked, until it got worse…. 😣
My acnes got alot worse during covid, and the last facial I went was my last straw (2nd pic). Idk if its just me but every facial session IS.A.TORTURE 💀 The whole session is SUPER PAINFUL, yet you have to bear it through. Note that I actually have very high pain tolerance so if i am feeling so much pain from it means it is rly super painful 😭 and I realise it just get rids of my existing acnes, but doesn’t PREVENT new ones from appearing ❌
So my sister saw my face and she told me “Why not try going for laser instead?” That’s when I thought probably I should give it a shot. When I reached the laser clinic I had a consultation with the doctor, and she mentioned: Sometimes the problem lies underneath your skin, so if you dont fix it from the root no matter how much facials you go to, it will still resurface.
That’s what made me decided to sign up for laser treatment sessions. I had my first session on the 5 Oct 21, and instantly after that session I could see results. She prescribed me a month of doxycycline (antibiotics) and did fractional laser for me. And on the 10 Feb 21 was just my 5th session, by then my skin had already:
✅ cleared up
✅ scars faded
✅ most importantly it was ✨ GLOWING ✨
I had completely STOPPED going for facials ever since I started doing laser and gurls it is one of the best decisions I made for my face 😍
Laser sessions can be quite pricey but I would say it is worth the money as it saves you from the pain from facial and even countless of future facial sessions 🥹
So if you have abit of money to spare, try laser sessions instead! ❤️ We all deserve to look our best 💕
