‼️Disclaimer: NOT a certified expert to talk abt skin in anyway, just sharing my personal struggles and why I decided to spend this much on skincare
👧🏻 Skin Struggles:
Since the start of JC (coincidence? 🤨 i think not), I have been dealing with these skin problems despite using raved products (eg. la roche posay)
– acne on cheeks, temples and chin
– little bumps on forehead
– pigmentation – red & black
Whilst considering laser solutions, I came across VALAISS. They were offering a skin consultation for free. I knew they were going to hard sell but I was determined to say no.
🛠️ Process:
The consultant used a machine to analyse my skin condition and the verdict was: my enlarged pores attracted bacteria which caused pimples & scarring.
She then recommended this product, Idebenone, to remove my pimples & scarring. But… it cost $360 for 50ML?! 💸💸
Mind you, I am NOT wealthy by any means and 1K was definitely out of the budget for my family and I. But, I purchased it.
📝 Why I decided to buy:
1. Laser would have been more expensive
2. Convincing testimonials
3. One time use
According to the consultants, this product is a one time repair product and I would not have to purchase it next time. All I have to do, is to maintain my skincare?
Hence, mum & I decided to buy 2 bottles & their skincare products which led to us spending $1000.
Impulse purchase? Gullible? We don’t know for sure yet but I will update within these 2 months!
