Last week, I went for New2U Thrift Shop’s Clearance Bazaar (you can read about it here ) and I came home with a bag full of goodies! 🥳 I’ve combined the haul with a couple of items I got during their last day of the month sale where everything is 50% off!
🤩 My eyes were immediately drawn to this brightly coloured scarf and I was pleasantly surprised to find it’s 100% silk + it didn’t have any visible snags so i took it home! I have the BTV puffy bag in cobalt and I think the blue trim matches perfectly!
🩷 Found these pink vases sitting on the top of the shelves and I knew I had to pick them up! Did a quick search of these on Google and they’re pegged as vintage Ikea vases from the 1990s! Now the real question – keep or flip it?
🌹 I couldn’t leave behind this heart-shaped rose trinket dish and for $1, it was a no brainer!
🤭 Scored this Anteprima-inspired wire mesh coin pouch for only $3 during the 50% off sale! It comes with a lobster clasp on the side so I can attach it to my bags/jeans!

👗 What a score for $5! I don’t have much powder blue items in my wardrobe so this is a lovely addition! I was a little skeptical of the size because it’s tagged XS, but it still fits loose on me!
🤫 Ngl, this belted skirt got me all giddy with excitement at the bazaar because it wears as a maxi skirt for me (on trend ✔️), has that contrast stitching I love and it fitted perfectly but when I was doing more research at home, I realised this is from Shein’s premium line. I consciously try not to shop from Shein (underpaid workers, promoting over-consumerism with its cheap pricing etc) but this MOTF label deceived me! 😠 I’ll still keep the skirt but omg, keeping my eyes WIDE OPEN next time!
🧥 Found this beige micro skirt on the racks and it turned out to be a skort! I think most people didn’t want it because it was too large at the hips but it fits me with some allowance!

🤍 Vests have been trending for a while now and since I didn’t have any in white, I bought this to add to my collection! If you look closely, it has a batik trim on the pockets, very cute! I was researching the tailoring shop and it turns out they make corporate uniform! So this could be someone’s uniform!
🪶 This Jaspal top is not what I usually gravitate towards, but this is one of the items I think would be useful to have in the closet should I need an “influencer event” fit – think black blazer, this Jaspal top with its wispy fur trim and long black pants!
🤎 I don’t really wear fitted tops so this was again, an anomaly, but the material was so soft, I had to try to see if it would fit! One of my favourite trendspotting YouTuber was talking about off-shoulder/tube tops coming back, so I tried this knit top on with the straps tucked in (so like a tube top) and the bust holds up! $2 to try a new style, would you do it!
🫤 I kinda have buyers remorse for this shirt dress, now looking at it. This doesn’t happen usually because I try to make sure I ONLY bring clothes I love home from the thrift shops but for some reason, my excitement to style this piece has fizzled out slightly. I’m still on the fence about it at the moment, but I think I’ll give it a try once it’s out of the wash! I planned for a beach/resort outer wear over an all white fit with flats + rattan bag look, so let’s see how that works out!
