Some days, I dream about living a life where all I need to do is put on a chic fit and run to the coffee shop for a quick croissant and caffeine fix.

I consider myself a foodie, and am someone who loves discovering good food/coffee. But going to a cafe is more than just about the food imo, it’s the full experience of doing the research, reading the reviews, checking out the menu, asking around among friends, going through the IG page to appreciate their aesthetics, and of course —deciding what to wear.

Here are two recent outfits I threw together.

    Outfit 1

    Top: Massimo Dutti

    Bottom: The Editors Market

Bag: The Collactives (The Classic in Brown)

Anything you throw on with a black maxi skirt will probably look good. A baggy tee, a tank top like what I did, an oversized shirt, a sweater, a corset top, a bandeau, the list goes on.

    Outfit 2

    Top: Zara

    Bottom: Madewell

Bag: The Collactives (The Classic in Brown)

I can imagine wearing this second outfit to a cafe in Paris. The white vest top is a good alternative to a regular white tee shirt. It ever so slightly elevates the outfit.

    Accessories

For both outfits, I paired them with my Birkenstock Mayaris for ultimate comfort, and this classic tan bag from The Collactives. Love the relaxed shape of the bag which contrasts against the structured vibe of the rest of the outfits. It also adds a pop of colour and is spacious enough to hold all my essentials.
